India’s Bitcoin Party to End Early?
S. Ganesh Kumar, a director of the Reserve Bank of India, seems to have put an end to debate over cryptocurrency’s future in the country. Speaking on Monday, he said that virtual currencies would not be allowed for use as a means of payment or settlement in India. Although this is not an immediate ban, the outlook certainly does not look good for Bitcoin in the planet’s second most populated country.
