Finland authorities have confiscated around 2,000 bitcoin – worth nearly $40 million on Dec. 18, 2017 – and is trying to determine how to safely handle them. Finland’s recently announced cryptocurrency guidelines prohibit the government from storing the bitcoin on a virtual currency exchange.
