According to Quartz, bitcoin exchanges Huobi and OKCoin used client funds to make their own, risky investments. The two exchanges are said to have invested around $150 million into “wealth management products”.
Over at Forbes, an interview with Ethan Burnside, who was the creator of the now defunct bitcoin securities exchange BTC-TC, was published. In the interview, Burnside discusses the crypto security offerings from the past and the current hysteria around Ethereum ICOs.
