Shawn Mendes has issued an apology to his fan base after it was noticed that his account had “liked” a tweet that was transphobic.
One fan tweeted at the 20-year-old entertainer, “unlike the tweet & apologize @ShawnMendes.”
Shawn quickly responded directly to the person, writing, “Must of accidentally liked it scrolling down a feed, you know me & I’d never. Sorry.”
