Rep. John Lewis hospitalized for a ‘routine observation’

Civil rights icon and Georgia congressman Rep. John Lewis, 78, was taken to an Atlanta-area hospital on Saturday and is being held for "routine observation," according to a spokesperson. He is expected to be released on Sunday.
