The former GOP presidential candidate was treated for prostate cancer over the summer, according to an inside source.

The insider did not provide any additional details other than that Romney was treated surgically and his prognosis is "good," telling CNN on Monday:"He was treated surgically by Dr. Thomas Ahlering at UC Irvine Hospital in California. His prognosis is good; he was successfully treated."
