Nicolas Cage‘s mother has sadly passed away.
The 57-year-old actor’s mother, Joy Vogelsang, died at the age of 85 on May 26 in Los Angeles, his brother Christopher Coppola confirmed on Facebook.
She was suffering from mental health issues for a while, and was hospitalized for two weeks before her death.
