Gavin MacLeod, the actor who famously played Captain Merrill Stubing on the classic series The Love Boat, has sadly died at the age of 90.TMZ reports that Gavin passed away in the middle of the night on early Saturday morning (May 29) at his home in Palm Desert, Calif.
