On Wednesday, it was widely reported that Elton John would be playing the President-elect's inauguration after one of Trump's team made the announcement -- leaving many scratching their heads.
Anthony Scaramucci, a member of Trump's transition team executive committee, told the BBC the Rocket Man singer would be performing for the upcoming inauguration to show "our commitment to gay rights."
