Lockheed, Pentagon announce $8.5B US F-35 order

The U.S. Department of Defence and Lockheed Martin Corp announced on Friday an agreement worth about $8.5 billion for 90 F-35 jets, following criticism last year from Donald Trump about the cost of the program.
