CRTC to rule on whether internet is an essential service

Canada's broadcast regulator could make a watershed ruling this afternoon on whether the internet should be deemed an essential service. CRTC chair Jean-Pierre Blais will hold a news conference starting at 4 p.m. ET in Gatineau, Que., and CBCNews.ca will carry it live.
