Apple Vs. Samsung: iPhone Beats Galaxy Smartphones In 2016 Shipments

The iPhone beat out all other smartphones in 2016, in terms of shipments, according to analysis from the firm IHS Markit.
The iPhone 6S performed better than all competitors last year, the firm said. In the fourth quarter alone, Apple’s latest smartphone, the iPhone 7 was 2016’s best seller, followed by the iPhone 7 Plus.
