Which iPhones can get iOS 16?

There are numerous new iPhone features coming in iOS 16, but will your iPhone be able to take advantage?
It’s bad news if your iPhone is older than the iPhone 8 – you won’t be able to upgrade your iPhone software to iOS 16.
But even if you have a newer iPhone than the five-year-old iPhone 8 you still may not get the full iOS 16 experience. Can my iPhone run iOS 16?
