Major Apple supplier TSMC to start producing cutting-edge A14 chip tech in 2028

Major Apple supplier Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) will launch its advanced A14 fabrication process in 2028, reinforcing its leadership in the chip industry. This cutting-edge technology will surpass TSMC’s current 3-nanometer process and the forthcoming 2-nm process, set for later this year. Additionally, TSMC will introduce an intermediary A16 chip process in late 2026, marking a shift in its naming convention. The A14 process will drive superior performance and efficien
