Apple’s new AirPods firmware release delivers iOS 27 features

Apple has released public firmware for several current AirPods models, unlocking the headphone features that arrived with iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate.
The update, build 9A348, is available for AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, AirPods 4, and AirPods Max 2. It is the retail counterpart to the beta firmware Apple tested through the summer.
