Spotify & Other Music Streaming Apps Dominate 2016

A newly released report from Sensor Tower revealed the lists of top earning and most downloaded non-game apps during 2016, on both the App Store and Google Play. According to the results, music streaming apps dominated the year’s downloads, with Spotify coming out on top in both the App Store and Overall categories by revenue.
Pandora, the radio and randomized playlist streaming app, ranks No. 4 on the App Store and No. 3 on Google Play (and #5 overall) by revenue during 2016, with YouTube
