Briton Ben Hooper begins world-record Atlantic swim attempt – video

Former British policeman, Ben Hooper, begins his world-record attempt to swim across the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday. Speaking at the start point of Hann Bay, east of Dakar in Senegal, Hooper says he intends to raise £1m for charity on his journey to Brazil, more than 1,900 miles (3,000km) away
