Impeachment testimony by Volker and Morrison doesn't totally contradict White House narrative, a partial victory for Trump

On Tuesday afternoon, former National Security Council staffer Tim Morrison and former special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker testified before the House Intelligence Committee in the impeachment inquiry. Though they had been called by the panel’s Republican minority, they by and large confirmed the Democratic narrative. That they did so without personally implicating Trump could be seen as a victory of sorts for the White House.
