Snow falls in North Yorkshire amid Arctic blast - as it happened

The Met Office has extended a yellow weather warning for North Yorkshire for almost another 48 hours. Cold arctic air has brought snow to parts of North Yorkshire as temperatures drop from those experienced in recent days. Gritters have been out on roads in the county but further north, the A66 is closed.
