LETTER: It’s time we ditched ‘men’ for ‘persons’

Councillor Crawshaw (The difference between men and women, Letters, February 22) is quite right to complain that The Press should not describe his mother as a spokesman. ‘Spokesperson’ has been around for years. Time to modernise.
