A FISHING rod caused a stink in Walsall after it forced a sewer to overflow.The blockage was discovered by Severn Trent in Bloxwich after homeowners called for help to deal with an overflowing sewer.When the team from Severn Trent came out they discovered that the sewer was blocked, causing sewage to back up into the area.
