UPDATE: Investigation Launched Following Man's Death At HMP Wakefield

Thursday 6 November 2025Detectives investigating the death of a man at HMP Wakefield have launched a murder investigation.  Officers were called at 8.25am yesterday to reports a prisoner had died in his cell.He has been identified as Kyle Bevan, 33, formerly of Pembrokeshire.  Three men aged 45, 57 and 63 have all been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody at this time.Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team said:Find out
