Port Vale are reportedly close to completing a deal to re-sign their former defender Joe Davis from Fleetwood. The 23 year would join the Valiants on a free transfer from Fleetwood Town.Davis, who is the son of former Crewe manager Steve Davis, came through the youth system at Vale Park.
