Woman charged with terrorism offence

A woman arrested in Birmingham today (Monday 24 April) on suspicion of terrorism offences has been charged.
 
Madihah Taheer, aged 21, from St Agathas Road, Birmingham has been charged as follows:
 
On or before 29 March 2017, with the intention of assisting another, namely Ummariyat Mirza, to commit acts of terrorism engaged in conduct in preparation for giving effect to that intention, namely by providing her bank details and other support to her husband so he could purchase a knife
