Wolverhampton man in court charged with burglaries

A man is due in court today charged with two counts of burglary in Wolverhampton, including one during which an elderly couple were assaulted.William Dimmock, aged 24, of no fixed address, will appear before magistrates in the city this morning (18 April).He is accused of breaking into a home on Crowther Street, last Monday (11 April) and attacking a man, aged 72, and a woman, aged 76, who tried to detain him.Dimmock is also accused of a second burglary on Meadow View Terrace 10 minutes after th
