Walsall pensioner dies in collision with lorry

A Walsall man has died after being struck by a lorry on Pleck Road, Walsall yesterday (Friday 11 November).Police were called to the scene around 1.45pm just outside Walsall Manor Hospital.The 76-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers from the force’s Family Liaison Unit.Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the regional Collision Investigation Unit, said: “T
