UPDATE: Man dies after being hit by car in Sandwell 

Police are this morning continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision in which a teenager died.Charlie Heywood (19) was hit by a blue Mercedes yesterday (5 June) on Birmingham Road, Great Barr and despite the best efforts of paramedics and passers-by that stopped to help died at the scene.The driver of the blue Mercedes, a 19-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of a number of matters including driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
