Top charity executive jailed for £325k fraud

A top executive at a public-funded housing group has been jailed for conning the charity out of £325,000 to buy a chain of sandwich bars.Lakhbir Jaspal earned £147,000 a year as Deputy Chief Executive of West Bromwich-based Accord Group - an organisation that receives government grants to build affordable homes for low-income families and vulnerable people.
