Third teenager arrested in Wolverhampton football assault

A third teenager has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in an assault that’s left a football fan fighting for his life.

The 18-year-old was arrested from an address in Wolverhampton’s Fallings Park at around 3.30am this morning (13 March)

The 44-year-old man, from Hemel Hempstead, was with a group of friends when he was assaulted in Littles Lane; he was taken to hospital with head injuries where his condition is described as critical but stable.
