Surgeon charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent

A surgeon has appeared in court this morning (January 18) charged with 21 counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Ian Paterson, 58, from Castle Mill Lane, Ashley, Altrincham appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court in connection with allegations around medical practices against patients.He has been granted conditional bail to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on 15 February.
