Staffordshire car fire linked to Birmingham deaths

A car fire in Staffordshire - which has resulted in a man being seriously injured - is being linked to an incident at a house in Birmingham during which two children died.Officers from Staffordshire Police were called to the scene on Whitmore Road in the Butterton area of Newcastle-under-Lyme at around 7.15am today (Friday 28 October).A man in his 30s – thought to be the children’s father - was found inside the car and had suffered life-threatening injuries.
