Sparkbrook man arrested for Syria-related terrorism offences

A 37-year-old man from Sparkbrook, Birmingham has been arrested on suspicion of engaging in terrorism in Syria.He was detained at Birmingham Airport by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit at approximately 3pm today (Thursday 11 June) after arriving on a flight from Istanbul.
