Smashed shop windows not race attacks, stress police

Police in east Birmingham investigating attacks on businesses in Small Heath and Sparkbrook - where windows were smashed - have moved to stress the incidents are not racially or religiously motivated. 

Statements have been taken and officers continue to trawl CCTV which may have caught the vandals in action.
