Pride by name, pride by nature

They say pride comes before a fall, and this has certainly been the case for some West Midlands’ fleeing criminals.

But rather than referring to one of the deadly sins, the word Pride is infact the name of one of West Midlands Police’s finest German Shepherd dogs.

Seven-year-old Pride is set to retire later this year, with PC Adrian Sheargold reluctantly hanging up the lead on what has been an illustrious career for the duo.
