Police urge man to come forward following city centre assault

Police have released an image of a man they are urging to come forward after a family man was severely injured in a Birmingham assault.

The 32-year-old was standing on Summer Row in the early hours of 27 December when a man ran towards him from the rear and pushed him over leaving him with severe head injuries. 

Detectives launched an investigation into the seemingly unprovoked attack and following extensive CCTV enquiries are now in a position to release an image of a man they would like to
