Police name man killed in Digbeth stabbing

Police investigating a fatal stabbing in Digbeth yesterday have named the man who died as 26-year-old Daniel Baird from Birmingham and urged people who were at the venue to contact them. Daniel, known to his family as Dan, died after he was stabbed outside The Forge Tavern in the early hours of Saturday 8 July. Another man also received stab injuries and was taken to hospital, where he continues to receive treatment.Today the senior investigating officer has sent out a strong appeal ur
