Police name elderly Walsall collision victim

Police have named an elderly lady who died after being hit by a car at a busy Walsall road junction.Mavis Storey was crossing the junction of Bloxwich Road and Leamore Lane just before midday on Saturday (13 August) when she was struck by a silver VW Golf just yards from her home.The 88-year-old was taken to QE Hospital with critical injuries but sadly pronounced dead later that evening. Her family have paid tribute to her, describing her as "a loving mother and sister who will be dearly mi
