Police launch murder investigation after man is shot in West Bromwich

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot in West Bromwich today (Tuesday 27 December).Officers were called to Dartmouth Street at the junction with High Street in the town centre at 2.36pm following reports of a shooting.A man in his thirties, who was a passenger in a stationary vehicle, suffered a gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
