Police investigate man's death in Birmingham park

Police have launched a murder enquiry after a man was fatally attacked in a Handsworth park this morning (Sunday 19 June).Officers were called to Waverhill Park in Waverhill Road, around 10.20 this morning, following reports of a man being stabbed.Ambulance crews were called and the 34-year-old man was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.A forensic post mortem will take place in due course.
