Police crackdown on prolific city centre beggars

Police in Birmingham are warning prolific beggars who continue to operate in the city centre, that they will be arrested as part of an on-going crackdown to make the area a safer place to live, work and visit. 

Officers will be proactively targeting aggressive beggars who intimidate shoppers and workers in the city and refuse to stop or get help after being warned by police.
