Police crackdown on distracted drivers using a phone at the wheel 

Reckless motorists who put lives at risk by using a mobile phone at the wheel have been targeted by motorway police.Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) have been using an unmarked HGV cab to catch distracted drivers on the M5, M6 and M42.A three week operation was launched on 7 November and coincided with national mobile phone enforcement week which ran from last Monday (14 November) until yesterday (Sunday).In the first two weeks of the operation 233 people were fined for usi
