Police appeal after man stabbed in Erdington assault

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was attacked on a street in Erdington on 8 April at around 7pm.The 46-year-old was outside a local newsagent when he was lunged at and stabbed in the head repeatedly with a glass bottle.Following the attack the suspect fled the scene on Bromford Lane in a white BMW Z4 sports car.Police were called just after 7.10pm and the man was immediately rushed to hospital by paramedics.He suffered five deep lacerations and required emergency hospital tre
