Police appeal after attempted armed robbery

Police are appealing for information after an attempted armed robbery at a Small Heath newsagent.During the incident - which happened at A-Z news, Coventry Road around 11.30pm on 22 October - the suspect pointed a small semi-automatic pistol, at the 27-year-old sales assistant and demanded money from the till.
