Pedestrian dies after being struck by falling debris in Storm Doris

A woman has died after debris fell from a rooftop in Wolverhampton during Storm Doris today (Thursday 23 February).The 29-year-old was walking past Starbucks in the pedestrianised area of Dudley Street just before midday when wooden debris from a nearby building struck her. Sadly nothing could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.Officers are now working with emergency service colleagues and Wolverhampton Council to establish how this tragic incident happened.The area rem
