’Peaky Blinder’ sought in Birmingham attack

A man dressed like a member of historic Birmingham gang the Peaky Blinders is being sought by police after a man was hit across the head with a metal bar.

 

Detectives have released a CCTV image and footage of the suspect − a mixed-race man wearing a flat cap, a dark double-breasted jacket and baggy trousers − walking in Ladywell Walk near Birmingham Hippodrome at around the time of the attack just after midnight on Saturday 27 September.
