Parents urged to check child seats after 90 per cent fitted incorrectly

Parents are being urged to check their children’s car and booster seats are fitted properly after the climax of a road safety operation found 90 per cent were fitted incorrectly. The warning comes following checks by officers at Frankley Services on the M5 at the end of UN Road Safety Week found only three out of the 30 child restraints examined were being used correctly.
