One punch Coventry killer is jailed for manslaughter

A man who killed a former teacher with a single punch at a Coventry snooker club has today (Friday 9 June) been jailed for 4 ½ years.
 
Carl Pinder hurled verbal abuse at 68 year-old Patrick Redmond before flooring him with the one blow on 27 February this year. 
 
Mr Redmond was left with a fractured skull which proved fatal after the attack at Riley’s Snooker Hall in Hertford Place.
 
Pinder had been drinking at the club but became agitated when Mr Redmond
