'One man crime wave’ jailed for seven years

A masked car-jacker who dragged a heavily pregnant woman from her vehicle has been jailed - after a police investigation linked him to a series of thefts. Japheth Wellington stole the Audi S3 from Walsall Wood as part of a crime spree which lasted almost six months. The victim - who was eight months pregnant - suffered cuts and bruises in the car-jacking on August 21 last year.
