Off-duty cops praised for keeping the peace on public transport

Off-duty cops have been thanked by public transport providers for helping challenge abusive passengers and bad on-board behaviour.In the first three months this year, West Midlands Police officers stepped in on 52 occasions to help train, bus and tram staff deal with angry fare dodgers and people acting anti-socially or seen intimidating other passengers.
