Murder enquiry launched after Hockley shooting

A man has died from a gunshot wound following a disorder in Birmingham this morning (Fri 30 Oct).West Midlands Police has launched a murder enquiry into the shooting that’s understood to have taken place in Soho Hill, Hockley, at around 4.30am. A 25-year-old man from Handsworth presented himself at hospital shortly afterwards with a gunshot wound but was later pronounced dead; a second man is in a critical condition in hospital.
